LILT is Tina Eck on wooden flute and whistle and Keith Carr on 10 string bouzouki, mandolin, tenor banjo and vocals. The duo met in the DC session scene and found that "flute and zouk" were a good instrumental match for what they love to play: traditional dance music from Ireland with its boundless energy, wildness and melancholy. Both performers are on the faculty of the Washington Conservatory of Music program at Glen Echo Park and teach privately.

Ronn McFarlane & Carolyn Surrick: Both of these distinguished artists have been champions of their respective instruments for decades: Ronn on lute and Carolyn on viola da gamba. Both are compelling performers, consummate musicians, who have both immersed themselves in music from the Renaissance and Baroque as well as music from the Celtic lands, adding their own compositions as they evolve. Individually, they have been awarded, acclaimed, celebrated, and now finally, they have become musical partners in an extraordinary journey. Their musicianship is impeccable, the ease with which they play together is stunning, and their music making is a joy to behold.
